Attempting to log on to a Windws 2008 STD Server, with user account called enews. Made this user part of the Remote Dektop User gropu in AD. ON the server thst I am trying to log on to remotely with that user name, I also added in the Configure Remote Dekstop User, and added the user. Next, I edit GP Management - on the DC - edit-Default Domain Policy - Policies - Windows Settings - Security Settings - Local Policies - User Right Assignment - and I added the enews user account to the ALLOW LOG ON LOCALLY PROPERTIES and the ALLOW LOG ON THROUGH REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICES.

DId a couple of gpupdate /force on the DC and still I get the error ' To log on to this remote computer, you must be granted the allow log on through Terminal Services right. By default, members of the Remote Desktop User group have this right. If you are not a member of the Remote Desktop Users group or another group that has thisd right. or if the remote desktop users group does not have this rightr, you must be granted this right manually.

Every other user defined in THE RDU Group can access remotely with no issues.

Stummped!

Any help will be apprecaited
