Problem with using remote admin AD to unlock user accounts

I am having a strange issue when using my remote admin server tools, specifically the AD Users and Computers mmc.

I am able to do everything within the snap in that you are able to do, except for unlocking user accounts. I don't receive an error message, and I looked in both event viewer of my system as well as the server, but no errors.

I've tried it both on the properties page as well as trying the "right click" method. The system acts like it works, but when I go back into the user properties it still says the account is locked and same thing on the server. However as soon as I change a users password, name, etc. it immediately updates, so I just don't understand why the Unlock Account feature doesn't work remotely. Is there something else I can look for other than errors, which there are none, to see what the issue is with the unlock feature?

I've tried reinstalling the tools, and also removing and adding the server back on a few times, but neither of those helped, which I anticipated might not work, but tried it anyways.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would be the only function that doesn't work remotely?
