Allow local logon to domain joined workstations.

We have a number of Windows 7 laptops that are joined to the domain, part of the requirement is that these will sometimes be running off the domain network (such as at Hotel Wifi, etc) as they are for training staff . This requires them to have the ability to login locally. Where they will be able to connect to the facility wifi and access training materials .

After joining them to the domain , I can't login to the local account I created which is called "training". Upon trying to login, we get the error message "‘You cannot log on because the logon method you are using is not allowed on this computer. Please see your network administrator for more information. “ The local group policy to ‘Allow Logon Locally’ is greyed out as it is being controlled through the domain group policy.
