For some reason this old removed child domain is appearing here. I don't see it anywhere else though. ntdsutil or in any AD snap ins. Only when you go to browse the entire directory. It used to be a child domain under the forest, it looks like now it is outside the forest but still there somehow. This domain was not removed nicely when it was removed. Essentially it was a domain that had little purpose to begin with, and the server that ran it completely died beyond worthwhile recovery. So we decided to just get rid of it at that time. I went through all the proper Microsoft guidelines for removing a domain with no available DCs at the time. This was a few years ago. I don't know if I just never noticed it showing up there (fairly unlikely) or it came back on there somehow. How can I clean this up?
