I've created a brand new power plan with exactly the settings I want our workstations to have, but ran into a little snag when forcing it to be locked in place via GPO.
However, when going to set the "Specify a custom active power plan" setting, it only lets me identify it via GUID. The problem being that when GPO creates the power plan on each PC, it generates a totally unique GUID on every single workstation.
Just leaving "specify a custom active power plan" disabled lets me create and set the new plan via GPO, but leaves it open for users to go in and change the settings between GPO pushes which i'd rather not have.
Ideas?
