I'm having some trouble with GPOs in Windows 2008 r2. I'm finding that when I set up a GPO and then decide to change it, the change is ignored.
For example, I setup folder redirects for My Documents and My Pictures. I also set it up so the user can't modify the settings for each of those folders. After discovering that the user's disk space would not handle all of the storage required, I tried to allow the user the ability to change the settings. However, because the user's HD wouldn't handle the storage required, I wanted to allow them the option to eliminate the offline folder setting for their pictures. But the change would not take.
Another example is with our Terminal Server. I initially setup the auto-logoff, for idol sessions, too low. I went to change it and the TS would not change.
What am I doing wrong here? How do you reverse...
