Today, all of our servers are in vLAN-1 (192.168.1.0/24), the default vLAN. Tomorrow, we will be virtualizing our servers (not P2V) as time allows and placing any new servers in vLAN-10 (192.168.10.0/24). We would like to avoid changing IP addresses on any existing servers. We have a layer 3 Cisco 3650 switch stack in place that is correctly routing traffic between the two vLANS without issue, so servers in both vLANS are able to talk. We are getting ready to provision a new domain controller and place in vLAN-10. My question is this, will the domain controllers in vLAN-1 be able to synch with the domain controller in vLAN-10 as is? Or do we need to add the vLAN-10 subnet to AD Sites and Services for this domain? Thank you in advance!
